Default Out of Breath .. Questionaire from Doctor

I have horrible panic attacks, so it's hard to tell whether or not being out of breath is do to panic attacks or weight issues. I put I could walk a block, but now am thinking differently. Should I call and tell them or would it make a difference? How long could you walk before you were out of breath at your highest weight?

Alt Weight Loss Surgery Insurance
Yes, you can often get insurance cover for your Weight Loss Surgery.
Our own Craig "Big-T" Thompson has been there and done that, and he's written an e-book about it.

My surgeon did not ask about being out of breath, but he did ask about joint pain, which I had in my knees, ankles and upper back. I honestly could have told him I was out of breath just standing still, no walking needed!!

First of all - hello and welcome! And may I say, your children are beautiful! What a gorgeous picture, you just want to reach out and nibble on them!

I think that anything that makes you question yourself should be brought up with your Dr. It's better to be safe....

I did start to notice that the few months before my surgery I was out of breath a lot more - a flight of stairs. Talking and breathing at the same time after carrying up a load of laundry wasn't happening.

But I still think you should bring it up with your Dr. You don't want any suprises.

at my highest weight which is very close to yours, 304 lbs, i seemed to be constantly out of breath..

i think its just all the weight we carry putting all that stress.
try something simple like leg & arm lifts while sitting..
if you like water aerobics????

hope i could have been of some help!!
lol,

At my weight of 373 pounds, in june of last year just before I started my diet on june 11. I needed to lose weight for a safer surgery. I got tired walking outside to my garden and I would be all winded. My garden is right behind my house a few yards away. I would never attempt to even walk a 1/4 of a mile becasue I was so scared I would not make it back to the house. I was to the point that I could not do hardly any shopping anymore, my husband was doing almost all the shopping already. Another words I was in real bad shape already.
Now I have energy to spare. I have gone on 2 mile walks with no problem at all and my garden is going to be HUGE this year, becasue working in the garden is going to be excellent excercise for me. The last few years my garden was getting smaller and smaller and last year my garden was the smallest of all. I only gardened in big tractor tires turned inside out last year, becasue I would not have to do hardly any bending down. I can help my husband outside now which I hardly have done for so many years because I just could not do it. I think weight has alot to do with getting out of breath, becasue I was always out of breath when I was so very heavy. I still have enough weight that I need to lose and I will get better with energy as the weight falls off and I get thinner.
