Default Pa appointment today

Well I had my pa appointment today and I was so nervous my pulse was 100 when the nurse checked me in! The pa was wonderful and made me relax a bit. She told me my bmi was 38.5, I was 218 and do have two comorbities. High bp and very high cholosterol. She was my insurance is one of the easy ones to get approved and she sees no reason I would be turned down!!!!!!! I am so happy.. I will make sure I have all my requirements done before Sept 30, when I see the surgeon. If all is in place, I should have a surgery date around the end of October.... She said it takes about 4 weeks from the surgeons visit because of his busy schedule. I have my pych test this Wed and my sleep apenea evulation on Friday. I am so excited, all I have left to do is work on my 10% weight loss and she even told me the 10% isn't carved in stone, they just want me to try and loose as much of it that I can. That light at the end of the tunnel just got a little brighter. Now, what's the best way to work on my 10%??

Alt Weight Loss Surgery Insurance
Yes, you can often get insurance cover for your Weight Loss Surgery.
Our own Craig "Big-T" Thompson has been there and done that, and he's written an e-book about it.

You may want to try to begin to follow the protocol for your post op period. Obviously, you'll eat much more than post op but you could start by drinking water and eating protein first, then veg and fruit, then carbs. You could also start cutting the empty carbs now. Also, any exercise is good, any movement is good. If you're comfortable walking, that is excellent for your heart and lungs as well as weight loss. Sounds like you're "full steam ahead" and you'll be a postop before you know it!

If you like soda go to diet ones. If not drink water and walk. Write down what you eat in a weeks time each day. It will suprise ya. Just make a healthier choice and do serving sizes of what ever it is your eating. That 10% will be history.
