With what you've lost so far, you at least need to get fitted again for a mask. Your face has changed shape and the old one isn't fitting well anymore.
I used a CPAP for 5 years. Six months or so after surgery, I started fighting with my mask. It wasn't fitting and it cut into my nose (still have that scar!) I tried a few other masks, and finally my wife told me that she didn't think I needed it anymore. I was pretty close to goal anyway, so eventually I gave in and tried it without for a night. Haven't used it since!
Ideally, you should have another sleep study. You may not yet be to the point you can give it up, but I'll bet your pressure needs adjusting since you don't have as much weight pressing down on your airways.
