 |  This has been a fun week.....not
Well, I have been trying to get the letters from my PCP and my Ortho. I had one schedualed for Monday morning, and one for Tuesday morning. My sis in law was the one using all my info putting the letter from me together. She has had this surgery (RNY) and she works with insurance companies. So I figure ok I need the help, so she says she will be done on the weekend. Well, she did not get the chance and we are all busy so no biggie. Monday I am halfway to my PCP office and they call and bump me to the afternoon. Ok, that got my mad somewhat, since it takes me an hour to get there. Then after my appointment in the afternoon I get a call from the Ortho office. He won't be able to see my until Friday to talk to and get a letter from. See where this is all going lol? Ok so I call my sis in law and ask if we really need his letter. Of course she says it would be better the more the better. Grrr, and that gives her more time to work on the letter. So I say I waited this long a few more days won't hurt. I call the PCP to see if they faxed the letter yet. She says no and after tomorrow he will be out of the office for the rest of the week. Now, I am getting mad, or thinking to myself is this the way the whole thing is going to go lol. Would you guys be frustrated? Is it because I am so close to telling the surgeons office to just submit and not give in and wait like they thought I should. I know one thing my PCP was not thrilled that I am doing a liquid diet just to lose something for them. Well sorry for the rant, just tired of the run around I guess. Cherri

I would be upset/angry too. Just try to keep your cool. The problem is that you wait for everyone to do their part. And some just don't move as fast as you want them too!!!! lol I know it's frustrating, but getting yourself worked up over it isn't going to help you any. Yeah, I know, MUCH easier said than done!! lol Just know that we're here for you to rant, vent, cry or whatever!!

Well, after calming myself down a bit, I decided to call my PCP office to see if they had gotten to my letter. First the girl said oh it will probably be next week. I was like "WHAT?" Of course I did not say that to her lol, I told her the girl yesterday said she would try to get it done faster, but she would have to talk to the Dr. Well, she puts me on hold, and I am like "Oh great now its next week, what next?" Before the hold I explained to her why I need it by Friday as I had explained it yesterday to the other girl. So a few mins of music goes by, and she come back and says she is going to personally type it up and fax it tomorrow, and will call me to let me know it has been done. I thanked her over and over, as usually it is the lady at the front desk that does these. I guess you guys know a lot more than me lol it sure does pay to have a little patience. Thanks to you all, my day is a little happier now.
