You won't believe this. Here I am waiting thinking I will maybe get approval. I call BCBSIL, and a very nice person answers the phone. I think great, one thing on my side, she tells me to hold, and boy did I ever almost 10 minutes. I figure I will be patient, so she comes back and says sorry, you were denied. Why? Yes I asked and I just want to  someone lol. The lady that turns in the insurance papers said my 6 months was up in Sept. Of course I believed her. Well by my count it was Oct. but I thought she knows better than I do. Nope, they said its only been "5" months  , was I ever mad, dissappointed, and just speechless. I am going to call them once they are back from lunch and let them know that the 6 months was not up yet. Hopefully after the next weigh in, it won't take them long to make their decision. Well, now I get to wait yet another week. I am so stressed right now, this just adds to it, I guess I will have to take out my frustrations on my walk tonight. Cherri

Just keep after them -- the insurance companies are notorious for bad paperwork and even worse buearcracy. When I was going through it, my doctor's office said they weren't going to submit the paperwork yet, because it hadn't been the four months (long story). I told them to submit and I would handle the rest -- she objected but did it anyway and I was approved within the week. Sometimes you just have to be persistent. In the end analysis, its a better cost for the insurance company.

Yes honey you have to give them everything they ask for with the I's dotted and the T's crossed. Its just much easier for them to say no when they find somthing like this than to really go over your case. Hang in there and give them what they want. Good Luck
