So, of course you KNOW that I had to get dressed and take a pic this morning! LOLOLOL Me and the camera are truly BFF's NOW! I just can not get over the "shock value" that my pics have on me!
I know that it has been said numerous times that "we" look at ourselves the same way as before surgery in the mirror and this is semi true for me, becuase there are days that I see someone totally different looking back at me...like it is a totally different person. IT IS!!! I am not the same as I was 1 year ago. I am more "out there"! If I was where I was last year, I would be scared to death going into a new job, LOTS of fear with people judging you because of your weight. YES, I am still overweight...actually Obese if you look at the BMI chart, but I am HAPPY, Healthy, energetic and look at people in the eyes now. I love what this has done for me and my family. I was talking to my nephew the other day and he told me that he doesnt ever remember me being this happy all the time. He loves what this life saving event has done to me and more importantly FOR me! I always thought that I was a happy person in general, but you know what? Who can really be that happy toting around an extra 100+ lbs??
Here is a pic of me after my grandmas funeral last July and right next to it is the me today. Hell yeah, I am happy...look at the difference!!!! Have a great day my friends!!!!

You truly look wonderful and extremely happy! That's what is so great about the WLS. It gives us back our lives! I thought I was living life and being happy, but now that the weight is gone I am so much more happy and feel so much better than I ever did. And I do the double take on the pictures too! It amazes me how different I look now. I just keep looking at the pictures over and over again as if to convince myself that it really is me in the picture.
BTW...love the outfit and hope your day was GREAT!
