This week at work someone commented on how much weight I've lost (this is happening with more frequency) and asked me about before and after pictures. I realized that I never took a picture of myself before I had surgery. I've always hated people taking pictures of me and yell at them when they do. I called my mother who found one picture, and then I found a picture my sister took at my son's graduation. Neither one are very good.   Ugh, I hate seeing pictures of me. Will these work for before pictures?

Yes, they will work, now we need a now picture. You are 2 months post op and down 80 lbs people better be noticing a difference. Great job! I do not have many of me before either. Advise to all newbies out there. Take a picture of yourself!

They are great "before" pix, but I agree, post some after. Your weight loss is great! WTG!! I, too, rarely let anyone take a picture of me before my WLS until I realized that I was erasing memories of me by not allowing pix to be taken. After that, I allowed a few, and will get around to posting before and after ones in the not too distant future. You should be very proud of the accomplishment of your weight loss!

Feeling okay today. My incision is infected again but I'm on antibiotics now and see the doctor again on Friday. Now picture will have to wait for a couple of days, maybe tomorrow depending on how I feel after my wound dressing change goes.

Great job on the weight loss. Looking forward to seeing your now pictures. I did not have any before pictures of myself either. But my surgeons office has one. I ask them a couple of weeks ago if I could get a copy. They said "sure no problem, we will mail it to you" I haven't seen it yet. Hope you get to feeling better soon. I know all the wound infections you have been having are torture. Just hang in there.
