Default 9.5 Months - 106 lbs

Here is my latest updated pic. I have lost a total of 106 lbs at 9 1/2 months. I've been in a stall but the scales has started moving again...yay for that. I have so much energy, I run all over the house now, doing housework in the mornings whereas before I was sooo tiirreedd! I have went from a size 26 to an 18 being loose now. I need to go shopping to see if I can wear something smaller? I went from a 3x or size 26 top to an XL or 14/16 top sor far. I do have major bat wings and lots of belly overhang but I'm still happy. I was off all my meds in less than a month from surgery. (Pre-diabeties, high blood pressure, acid reflux, fatty liver disease, planter flateatis & heal spurs - (extreme foot pain) Now, I have a mild heal spur in one foot that hurts a little. The biggest wow is that everyday, I am still amazed at how much energy I have, I can go all day long with no aches and no loss of energy. My mission gets accomplished now instead of stopping b/c I'm so tired or of body aches.

Alt Weight Loss Surgery Insurance
Yes, you can often get insurance cover for your Weight Loss Surgery.
Our own Craig "Big-T" Thompson has been there and done that, and he's written an e-book about it.

Congrads, you are very beautiful and you have done a great job with your weight loss. It feels so wonderful when a person goes down in size, and it is hard to keep up with cloths once a person starts to loss a large amount of weight. Thank goodness my daughter gave me all her cloths as she lost all her weight. That saved me a bundle of money. I have only one size left of my daughters cloths and then I have to start to buy my own pants. I have been buying tops for a while, my daughter has differnent tastes in tops then I do but the same taste in pants. But there are a few tops that I liked and am wearing them. I cannot wait to get my tummy tuck done so that I do not have to wear pleated pants to hide my tummy. I have never worn black jeans and I cannot wait to wear them after tummy tuck. I want to wear something tight fitted and not such baggy pants to hide my tummy. I will also be able to wear smaller tops, I have to buy bigger tops becasue of the tummy that is hanging there.
Lidouglas, You are doing great with your weight loss, you have lost 20 pounds in three weeks, that is over 6 pounds a week, that is great. You will have weeks where you lose more and some weeks you loss less. You also will have stalls along the way and that is when your body is reorganizing itself and you loss in inches. Your body needs rest sometimes and that is when the inchs come off too. That has happened to me many times. But I am so happy with my results. So Lidouglas you are doing a great job and keep up the good work.

Wow 20 lbs in three weeks! That is amazing. It has been mention more then once the slower you take it off the better you will be at maintaining. That being said you body will lose what it thinks is necessary. About 4 - 6 weeks post-op many hit a stall. Only to pick back up again. Your body has to adjust to weight loss ... you many do a lot and then a little or none at all. It does not mean you have stopped losing just that, that is all your bosy can do at that given time. Just keep to your surgeons instructions and you will do fine! I know it is hard but try not to compare yourself to others.

I did some research to see what my status was throughout my journey and here is what I came up with:

I lost 10 lbs of my total listed the month before surgery on my own, then:
I think I had lost 25 lbs the first 2 weeks after surgery
8 Weeks = -50 lbs
11 Weeks = -60 lbs
4 Months = -78 lbs
5 Months = -80 lbs
5.5 Months = -86 lbs
7.5 Months = -100 lbs
9.5 Months = -106 lbs

I think you are doing great. I started out heavier so I should be loosing more. I kinda think I am a slow looser compared to some. But you can see the weightloss has really slowed down and the stalls are torture too! I had a 2 week stall at 6 weeks out then a 2 week stall at 3 months out then a 2 MONTH stall at 4 months out and I am just getting out of a 1 1/2 Month stall now. So expect those stalls and do not get discourage b/c they will end, just follow what your dr had instructed. Get ready for all those wows you will experience along your journey!
