Bad news for Trashman!

The good news first. I passed the 100lbs mark yesterday. The bad news is, two nights ago I thought I was going to die. Yup, it looks like I will be going under the knife . MY GAL-BLADDER . I get an ultra sound tomorrow. I'll keep you posted. The doctor says it common after by-pass surgery.

O Trashman...first off congrats on joining me on the 100 lb mark...wow we made it together so close! and then Sympathy for your going under the knife. I hope that all works out okay for you. I am so glad that I haven't had any issue with my gal bladder so far. I know that this has to be hard, but at least you have the upside of the incredible progress you have already made so far to help encourage you and get you through it all. I know that you will have many people here praying for a speedy recovery for you. I look forward to hearing how you are doing and to seeing some new celebration pics for your big milestone.

Sorry to hear you have to under go that!
RAPID weight loss tends to cause problems
for the GALL BLADDER.
I know i took a preventive med the first
months after surgery to avoid troubles.

GOOD LUCK!
gall bladder attacks are painful.
BEST wishes for an easy surgery.

BUT ALSO CONGRATULATIONS on the 100 lbs gone!
your doing awesome.

Hi trash....the same thing happened to me 20 years ago when I lost about 80 lbs. while on a diet.
Good luck. Let us know what happens.

Hope all goes well for you on your gb surgery. More importantly...Congratulations on your 100 lb mark being reached!!!! That is absolutely terrific.

Congratulations on joining the Century Club.
Awww, too bad about the GB attack, and needing removal. On the other hand, you won't have any more trouble from that quarter, once it's taken out.

I guess the high point is , I wont have to spend anymore $ oout of pocket since its in the same year as the bypass. I already met my out of pocket for the year with the insurance company. Thanks for the kind words.
