Peanut has finally agreed to have her photos put on the boards. She wasn't all that keen on having the "before" taken this time last year, but she went along with it. This was a few months before she decided to have WLS. The "current" (not ready for an "after" yet!) was taken 5 minutes ago. She doesn't see a difference yet.

I had no idea how much I have lost!! Comparing these two pictures of me really says a lot for the surgery. I'm happier and it shows on my face. That white skirt was one of my favorites, but I had no idea how big I really looked. Thanks perfesser for taking today's photo and posting it along with the other one. I hope to lose more in the next month before I go home for my family reunion. They won't know me!!

Nice, Peanut. I hear ya about not "seeing" a difference without seeing before/current pic sidexside.
I know it feels "too soon" to get some smaller clothes, but just one new outfit makes a real difference in feeling different, as in, "Holy cow...I really DO fit into a size 16!"

Some of y'all may recall way back when I was writing about Peanut's operation, I told y'all that I had bought her a dozen wooden roses - 11 white (her favorite - for purity) and one red (for passion)? I just realized that they are in the second picture, just behind the sea shells! Those are her WLS roses! (Looks like they're working!!)
