Okay,
I must comment on the weight loss. I did not lose the weight in one year.
385-- This is at the hospital on the record.
279--The weight they have at my Dr.
Lost 100 from 2002-2003 (phentramine from DR and weight watchers)
Slowly gained 75 pounds back (All while attending TOPS--not their fault--I did not take care of myself as I should have.)
Joined Severe Obesity Program @ Kaiser 2006
Lost more weight--whatever it was I don't remember--but close to 279. Had a SEVERE gall bladder issue--which moved to a pancreas/liver issue. Nearly died--had surgery--and a scope procedure which worked--otherwise they would have had to cut me open and physically take out the calcium stones in my pancreas.
Slowly gained the weight back AGAIN! Well--I'd been there before.
SUGERY!!--left ovary
Rapidly gained weight
Called Kaiser and re-entered the program. I was 1 day away from needing to reapply and take all the classes etc.
Slowly lost 50 pounds.
Gastirc Bipass- R&Y--lost about 85 since surgery.
The great news was my faily long plateau--everything firmed up and started looking healthy. Skin tone, stamina for exercise, har not falling out etc.
So I did not lose 145 in one year--just want to let people know so they don't have unreasonable expectations for themselves based on my weight loss.
Have a great day. I have a BIG presentation tomorrow--something I would NEVER had done before my newly given life.
