I had my surgery one year ago today. I'm so pleased with the way I feel and all the health problems I eliminated. I had high blood pressure, pre-diabetes, acid reflux, pain in my side from fatty liver & my feet hurt so bad all the time with heel spur. I am happy to say that within 1 month after surgery I was off all my meds and feel so great. I still have some heel spur pain in one foot but not near as bad as before, before it hurt to the extent that it interfered with my daily activities, now it does not, kinda mild. The only other issue I am having is TOM issues and I think that is still from PCOS and my body dealing with rapid weight loss. I am hoping this will regulate once I stabilize. This year has been so exciting, with the weight loss and we build a new house and moved in April, the best is all the wows i experience just with what how nice it is to fit in booths and so on.
I have lost a total of 101 lbs since surgery, 10 lbs were lost before surgery. I have went from a size 26 (3x) in shirts and pants to a size 18 pants (a few 16's) and 14 or XL Shirt. My bra went from a 46DD to a 38DD.
Although I had hoped to be out of the 200's by this date, I am happy with my progress and hope to continue to my goal. I have been in a stall for over 4 months now playing around with the same 5 digits. When my son starts kindergarden in 2 weeks, I am going to hit the gym in the mornings, hopefully that will help kick start things. I co-own 3 businesses and my son has always stayed with me at work (family businesses) so my days are jammed pack with office work and I do not get the excersize I need, I was helping build our house every evening and weekends, then came the yard & garden work, now I have ran out of lots of physical work so time for the gym.
It has been frustrating this past 6 months with my weightloss slowing down so much. I posted I had lost 100 lbs in March and here it is August and only 10 more lbs have been lost so that is hard. I am so afraid my body will stay here and I still have so much fat to loose. I see some having surgery at my weight. Hopefully it will kick start up again.
Anyway have fun with the pics, this is not an after just an in progress comparison.
