Hi Lisa,
Yes, I am still a support group leader for Milwaukee WLS, were meeting tomorrow as a matter a fact. My group will be 4 yerars old in April.
My Back on track program is really just my basics to my BTC program, which is now Baric Clinics. Lots of protein, and 6-8 little meals a day. I start eating at 7am and stop at 8:30pm, it is funny that all the years I dieted, I was told not to eat, and now to make my tool work I gotta eat.
I drink lots of water and have tried to cut back on the artificial sweetner too, seems to help. No fried food and cut out the sweets. We all know what to do, it is just doing it again! Guess what, it works! I started this on Janauary 3rd, and dropped the 1st 15 really quick, the last 5 have taken a bit, bit alot easier that I really thought. I feel good too!
I check in here often but usually don't post, I guess it is good to network!
Take care and stay on track it is to easy to fall off....

I really appreciate your sharing. I am 8wks post op and hearing stories like this is inspiring to all of us. It also reinforces the knowledge that the surgery is only a tool and we must try to stay on track from the beginning.

I think you still look fantastic after 5 years. HONEST I often wondered if we here, would ever hear from Dawn. Grant it, I am sure some of the members know you, but I don't, and I am glad that you posted some pics of you, being that you are five+ yrs. out. It gives alot of us inspiration to know that with some good eating habits, and knowing what has to be done to keep the weight off, or in your case, take some off if we flounder a bit down the road. I still think you look GREAT, though. ONE AMAZING LADY. Thanks again, for posting.

p.s. If I may ask, what happened that you put on 30 pounds? This might be a stupid question, that I probably know that answer to, but am curious. It could have been a number of things. I still don't think that it is bad for being soooooooooooooo far out from surgery as you are. You have done a remarkable job, and should be commended for it.

Wow WLS support group leader!! you know it's a shame that we don't have a support group here in Kuwait! they only support I'm getting is through this lovely website!
