 |  I CANNOT believe I'm posting this....
Ok, so I ordered a new 2 piece swimsuit this year. I'd promised myself that I would never post a pic of myself in a swimsuit until I reached goal. Well, you know what? I think it'll be good therapy for me to just bite the bullet and post this. I've been struggling with some body image issues lately. The hanging skin is getting to me. And I went to the pool with some friends a couple of weeks ago, and actually found myself being self conscious for the first time in YEARS. I don't like that. So, for those of you who don't wanna look... cover your eyes. I'm posting this because it's good medicine for me, I think.  So here it goes folks... me.
(lol at the fact that I just realized I was holding my breath. lol....I'm not even gonna preview this post. Otherwise, I think I might chicken out! haha)

Wow what a cute suit and you got a flat tummy and a waist ! WTG Steph , you look great ! No reason for apoligsing on how you look that suit is the perfect fit, you look great, now quit hiding behind a towel when out and about in your suit, you earned the right to wear it and you wear it well ! I just miss not seeing that cute smile of yours also ....Ummmm what you doing to flatten your tummy ? I must not have enough dedication to get one..I do have rib bones though and love how the curve in my side now ! You rock and have done an awesome job in picking the right suit for your body frame , SEXY THANG YOU !

Steph - I want you to take what I'm about to write very seriously. I NEVER post if I don't think a person looks good b/c 1. it's not nice to say mean things and 2. some people can be delusional about how they really look (at least according to me) so the fact that I'm posting here means what i say is TRUTH! YOU CAN ROCK THAT BIKINI GIRLFRIEND!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
First off - you picked a VERY flattering fit to your body (speaking of which, where did you get it b/c its super cute and I want it) and you look fantastic in it. I'm also wearing a bikini for the first time in my life and for the first few times I was super self conscious except this weekend - I walked around that pool deck and felt AMAZING. Sure, I had to suck some shit in but you know what - EVERYONE DOES AND ITS OKAY! I am so proud of you and for being so brave to post a pic b/c I don't think I could do it. You look fantastic and I hope you see what we all see and keep rocking those bikinis!!!!

LOL Awww... thanks guys! No Dixie, I haven't had any ps. Trust me, there's plenty of tummy hang tucked in those bottoms!
Marti, as for the swimsuit... I ordered it online from www.loveyourpeaches.com. LOVE that site! I emailed the owner (Janelle) with my measurements, and she made the suit for me. It's a "made to order" type site. You can choose from several different styles and prints. I will order from them until they close their doors or refuse to make smaller suits! LOL It's actually a site for plus size ladies, but they've been so awesome to make a smaller one for me. And by the way, thank you so much for your comment. It means alot to me.
Annie, as for my tummy and waist... I do alot of Zumba. It requires alot of ab work and core work. It kicks my butt, but it's soooooo worth it! I'll have to say, if my ass and thighs will be as cooperative as my waist, i'd have it made! LOL I don't have the hot momma ta ta's that you have, so I have to find another attribute to accent! LOL My ta ta's have gone bye bye!
Thanks again ladies. My dh drools and foams at the mouth each time I put that suit on, but it's really hard to take his compliments as "unbiased." I mean, we all know that sometimes our closest loved ones just try to say what they think we want to hear. I don't know what posessed me to post this today, but I just thought it might be the kick in the pants that I'm needing. Judging from my feelings so far, I think I was right!
