|  Getting frustrated! Before/After
Ok, I'm going to try this one more time! My internet is having fits today for some reason, but I am trying to post my first before/after pic, I will officially post my 1 month pic next Tues, but I wanted to see if I could do it. The first pic is me this past Christmas at 246, the second one is me 2 days ago at 216. I'm so excited to be down 30 pounds in 3 weeks!!!  |

What a difference! How are you feeling. What is your daily menu like? I have been practicing making menus so I will be ready when the time comes, just 1 month and 6 days left. I am getting so excited Where in the Springs do you live? I live in Aurora, CO. My daughter lives just north of Monument. I take the grandkids to the Springs for the movies and dinner sometimes.
Any advice of how I should prepare myself this far out from surgery? I am cleaning out the cabinets and emptying the freezer down to nothing.

Hello! I actually live in Ft. Carson, but we just moved here from off post. As far as menus go, I just got off my liquid diet Friday, so when I was on liquids it was mostly soups, jello sugar free of course, pudding, yogurt (which the dietician said I was getting ahead of myself, but I held it down, so oh well), sugar free popsicles, and carnation instant breakfast, and protein shakes (the premade ones).
Before my surgery, I made sure I had all my supplements, protein powder, little plates, baby spoons, my grabber thingy (so I wouldnt have to bend over to pick stuff up), decaf tee, and I made up my bag for the hospital. You really dont need much for the hospital, just something loose around your belly and comfortable, chapstick, baby wipes, I brought my own pillow, feminine products cause a lot of women start thier TOM right after surgery, and house slippers. I wasn't allowed to take a shower when I was in the hospital, but I was only in there for 3 nights.
I didn't have to clean my cabinets out, cause my hubby still has to eat. LOL But just make sure you have everything set up for when you get home, cause you are not going to feel like having to go grocery shopping.
But since you are so close, we will have to get together sometime! Good Luck on your surgery, and I pray it goes smoothly with no complications!
