i just wanted to add that steak is EVIL and it hurts SOOOOOOOOOO bad....anyone else have this issue.....i love it and it made me soo sick.....we have employee appreciation today and we are having steak and baked potatoes and i tried to eat the steak and the "fires of hell" were in my pouch and up my throat.....i chew chew chewed and still trouble..........grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr...and now im currently at work sick with the cold sweats......make it stop......

Did you have anything else? It sounds like dumping to me too, but I thought that happened from sugar....did you have salad with dressing? or was there sauce or marinade on the steak?

I get pain like heartburn when i eat red meat now, it also is very uncomfortable for at least 20minutes very annoying. I just figured out the culprit yesterday, thank goodness.

Awwww, poor baby. It's bad enough to dump when you ate something bad, but it's even more frustrating when you were trying to be good. Steak is very hard on the pouch. I used to eat mine well done, now it has to be med to med-rare and then I can still only eat a small portion. Hope it passes soon.

Color me lucky. I have never had a problem with beef. Many MANY do. I am sorry you are suffering.
If it is a dump, then it is from the fat. Both fat and sugar are "dumpables".

It could be meat tenderizer and spices used. Also MSG is something commonly used in restaurants which can cause pain and upset stomachs and headaches in people without the sensitivity we have.
Make certain you ask for steaks without any seasoning and no sauces (which often contain MSG) and specifically ask if there is tenderizer used in the steaks.
It could be that you are also having a reaction if the steaks are cooked over charcoal.
Try cooking a small steak at home without any additives. Cut it into very, very small pieces and trying to chew, chew, chew.

I have trouble with beef as well. Steak, hamburger, cubed steak - it all upsets me.
