|  One year later!
Well Nov 24th was my one year anniversary and I can't believe it's been that long. I have been so blessed with no complications or problems and so far a very good out come. We had our Thanksgiving dinner today and I ate everything but just a spoon of everything! It felt good but I did miss not being able to eat more. It's been a busy and crazy year with our home life more than I can go into here but all I can say is, if I hadn't had this surgery I would have gained 50 lbs!! I made it though some very stressful times this last year and I'm proud of how I managed without turning to food. So without furter ado, here is the new me. Oh the picture of me leaning on something is 66 pounds of top round beef ( I work for a food distributor so had easy access to it) When you can "see: the weight you have lost like this, it's amazing!

You have done wonderfull! I love the picture with the beef...it really hits home. I too ate everything I wanted on the holiday table, but just a teaspoon or so of each. Like you, I have had no complications or bad experiences so far from my surgery. Keep smiling! You have done great  | |

The beef's a great graphic, but even that is incomplete. Fat takes up much more volume than muscle, so round up 66 pounds of suet or lard and see how that looks!! Your stack is too small using muscular beef!

Yup, that beef pic is just grand, and as da perfesser says, if it was all fat/lard, it would have been about 1.5 times larger. Isn't that a thought as well  | |
