i crave sweet stuff....not like chocolate....but like sweetarts and skittles....not like fast food or soda...just those kind of sugars......i hate eating FOOD FOOD.....you know like chicken and fish and meat of any kind.....what is wrong with me......? at least the smell and taste of grease still grosses me out really bad....so all good there....

I have always been a sweet eater. Not brownies or cake with frosting either. But oatmeal/rasin or peanut butter cookies. I do prefer hot tamales, boston baked beans, sweet tarts as my candy too. Chocolate and things that are very sweet, make me fall asleep within 10 minutes. It was a problem before wls, its a BIG problem now that I have such a small stomach. I have to be very careful what I eat, especially while driving. I get so drowsy. I don't care at all for fried foods anymore. Not even McDonalds or BK's. Sometimes I eat a few of their fries. Actually as much as the smell of fried food is a turn off for me now; french fries do not bother the pouch. I do crave bread though, even though now it gives me stomach cramps (yeah!). Nope not just you, I think perhaps its our fat brain still trying to trick us, with cravings.

i hate that i crave sweetarts and skittles....i suppose i dont eat as many as i used to before my WLS. i maybe eat 10-15 skittles and the cravingi s gone, but i hate it....yeah i dont eat bread at all..

I am addicted to cinnomon candy only the really hot kind. I do not like the taste of anything sweet but I love the hot cinnomon candy and it seems to settle my stomach if I eat a bite to much or to fast. I do eat a few every day because my calorie intake is still so low. I may have to watch this if my food intake increases. I am currently 9 months out and 1 small chicken strip from hardees is a full meal for me.

I had and have the same thing. Right now it might not get to ya but it will catch up with you if you dont control it right now. If your gonna do it... allow yourself just so many pieces and that is it. Skittles are small and so are Sweet tarts. So make a number and stick to it. 7-8 and stay with it. Like Barb and that one cookie a day.

You see to me its like saying ok if i dont have it I feel deprived of it and makes me want it more. If you allow your self just a bit then it takes the edge off and you can go on. We have discussed this before. It does help alot. But make sure you stick to that few pieces ok? Mine? I never really cared for choclate. However mine got to be choclate.....for some odd reason it hit me out of the blue one day. How I solved mine........ the hubby got a small bag of those mini things just one flavor. I eat one tiny piece of them a day and that does it for me.

Kat im glad you made this post because there are so many of yall in the same stage your at now and you brining up stuff like this helps others and it lets them know hey im not alone in this.........and you not.
