I must say yesterday was such a wonderful, great, happy, exciting and just one of the best shopping expierences I've ever had. Now normally being as heavy has i was I never really looked forward to spring and summer except for the fact that me and my daughters birthdays were coming up and the 4th of july I had the day off. Besides that I hated being outside and being hot, sweaty, and not wanting to wear shorts for the fear of them riding up between my legs and having to tug at them all the time UGH...So for those reasons i dreaded those seasons. Every one else would be enjoying all the outdoor festivities while im inside doing nothing but being depressed and bored. WELL NOT NOW!!

My first wow moment was in a dressing room of course at a store....Now in my other posts i mentioned i was in a size 18 now...that actually was just a guess because my 20s were VERY loose so i figured ok i must be in an 18 but i hadnt tried anything on. So of course i psych myself out while at the store and still grab a 20 and also an 18...i put on the 20 and of course duh its to big...so as i put it back on the hanger i just kinda stood there and looked at the 18 and i actually got nervous. Idk why but it thinking about it now i couldnt remember the last time i had worn an 18 (thinking now though it was when i was pregnant with my kids and i was about 20-21yrs old). So finally after laughing at myself for just standing there looking at the clothes i put them on and YESSSS THEY FIT WITH ROOM TO SPARE!! I started to do my little happy dance in the dressing room
Another personal wow for me is that they were CAPRIS!! Now last year i would have never ever bought them, even though they are not shorts i still was very uncomfortable wearing them. I purchased a couple pairs along with a scooter (skirt with shorts underneath) and walked out so proud and probably more confident than i ever have been about having the surgery.

Later that day i wanted to do some more shopping with my younger sister at i guess you can say an "off brand store" as in they have name brand stuff but at cheaper prices. Sometimes i hate shopping at store like this bc even though im wearing an 18 i could be in a 22 at this store. Needless to say i sifted through various cute clothes thinking to myself oh this wouldnt look right on me and i cant pull this off. But i remembered the confidence i had earlier and said what they hey im just gonna try stuff on and see how it looks. Now this one outfit in particular was what you call a slinky long dress...NOT something i would normally wear. It was a size 1x and still not bad considering i was in a 3 to 4x before and again to my suprise it fit very nicely, i even showed my sister and she said i looked "hot" lol. Thats not normally a term i would have associated with myself back then but i definately enjoyed hearing it. Sorry for the long post but I just love these new feelings i have and i just wanted to share them!! Love you guys hugssss

Yes, you can often get insurance cover for your Weight Loss Surgery.
Our own Craig "Big-T" Thompson has been there and done that, and he's written an e-book about it.
