Well, yesterday marked 9months post op! What a journey! I am down 114 pounds and have never felt better! There have been many ups and downs along the way, but I wouldn't change any of it for the world. Thanks to everyone here for all your help and encouragement along the way!

Alt Weight Loss Surgery Insurance
Yes, you can often get insurance cover for your Weight Loss Surgery.
Our own Craig "Big-T" Thompson has been there and done that, and he's written an e-book about it.

Thanks CT!!! You have been such an inspiration throughout this entire journey.....

I can't really pin point one thing that has surprised me the most, there have been lots of surprises along the way.

Some words of wisdom...... take it one day at a time! This is by far the most difficult thing I have ever done, but the rewards are endless! There will be days that you question why you had this surgery, but believe me it was for the best! Don't think about it as I can NEVER have [insert favorite food here] again, just think of it as I can't have it TODAY! Also, take LOTS of pictures you will be amazed at the progress you are making, even when you think you aren't making any! Take a picture 2 weeks post op, one month, two months, three months, etc...... It really helps! Ask for help when you need it, and don't be afraid to come here and vent if you need to, lord knows I sure did! LOL!!! Enjoy the journey!
