Lch hosted a couple of Japanese exchange students.
She has blogged in our Blog, and she was a wonderful hostess to the two boys.
I received a couple of pics from her, and here they are for you to see.
OMG, I had to  when I saw the pics, the two boys are sooooo typically Japanese high school kids in every way--their hair style, how the dress even in uniform, their bags...
Lch's kids are super cute, but of course, our Lch outshines 'em all.

Doc, thank you for posting these. We had such a blast with the boys!! they were so polite and wonderful. We plan on keeping in touch with letters. Their were lots of tears when they left. I had been telling everyone how i loved their hair cuts and when they weren't in their school uniforms, (as shown in the pictures) they dressed really cute! they have great style, all the kids loved their clothes.
and thank you for all the really nice compliments!! I like my new hair too.. and it is finally starting to grow back, i had lost a lost of hair after surgery, you can tell from the before/after pics.. but when i went in the other day, she showed my all my new out growth, i can even make bangs out of the new growth in the front of my hair line... so yea, everyone was right, it does grow back, but it did take a long time, and it was a very difficult thing for me to deal with....

Chilly, it was so wonderful. i wasn't sure about doing it at first, i was really nervous that i wouldn't be a good host. But my kids and I enjoyed them so much. I actually wish i could have had them stay longer. My kids told them, just don't get back on the bus.... it was very touching.

Love the photos and yes I love the new du!!!! looks great on you. shows off all your hard work. and yes I can atest to the fact that taking in an exchange student is a wonderful experience. I did it last year with a young lady from Spain. We had her for the whole summer and it was such an experience. Wonderful. I was leary going in and it turned out to be the best experience for our family. Like Ich said, we were all crying at the end too saying good bye.

Awwww I'm sure it's such a sad thing to say goodbye. I mean, they become your "kids". I can imagine how nervous you would feel at first. But once you get to know them, and care for them, then they become like your own.
