I was so embarased to put up the before pics, i did not realize how far i let myself go... But now I am happy to show my current pics!  Funny how i cried when i hit this weight on the way UP and NOW i laugh as i hit it again on the way down  I felt like i was losing, i can tell by my clothes (size 24/26, now 18- pushing 16) and ppl are telling me "WOW- you're really losing weight" but i truly did not "see" it until i posted these pics-- Holy cow-- i'm REALLY doing this!! lol.  I still can't believe this...

Weight Loss Method Roux en Y Gastric Bypass | Yes, my Dr told me to lose between 10-20 lbs.. He does not operate on ppl that won't lose weight before surgery. I came in around 15-16lbs less I did Nutrasystem and it worked in 3 weeks He said it is to shrink the liver for easiest operation (liver gets in the way), as well as for faster healing time, less risk of damage/brusing to the liver during surgery, and better long term results overall beacause. The body will lose some where between 60-80% of it's "overweightness" following surgery... so the less you weigh Post Op-- the less you will weigh when you level off after the 18 months or whatever that # is. I think what is helping me to lose the inches now is the walking-- i do 1/2 hr every day. It's not much, but it's consistant. I just got approved to hit the gym in 2 weeks and i will be there!! He said these are the 2 main factors to successful weightloss and keeping it off: lower starting weight and excercise. Quote:
