OK I went to the local mall after work today. it was a mess lol! BUT EVERYTHING IS ON SALE!!!!!!

i went over some fashion things with a coworker today. she said i needed to purchase TWO staple items that i could build on one sweater that will last me thru the fall and that i could get one sweater dress. she told me to get black so that i could change the look with the color of my pants or add a skirt or the color of the tights with the dress etc. so........

this is what i got and i think i did ok

I got a black sweater dress which is all the rage here. and some cowl neck sweater type thing.

i got all different types of bracelets and what not and a couple of different texture and color tights in case i ever wear this dress again LOL!!!

oh by the way, the dress was 12.99 as was the sweater. the bracelets were 4.50 per pack, and i bought a pair of shoes for 13.00 from payless. YAY!!!! (im so cheap and im NOT embarassed )

what do you guys think?? im thinking im just now getting the hang of the winter-ish stuff and im gonna be screwed when the warmer weather returns and there are no more sweaters to buy

now what do i do with my hair?? do i add or subtract??

special thanks to doc for suggesting metalic jewelry and stuff lol. i wa slost but i think silver is more my cup of tea. i never really liked gold. so if i go with a metalic accessory it will be silver all the way!!!! thanks

Love the 2 new things. Very cool. And I like the fact that you can switch it up with tights or leggings and jewlry. Very cool and I love the photo of you in the jeans and the cowel sweater. Very very fashionable and you look great!!!! And kudos to you on getting the good deals. Way to go.

With the dress, I say add bright red beads (longish necklace) to give it a festive look. Silver will be chic and sophisticated, white will be modish-avant garde.

Black looks good on you, and you'll be able to use any bright color as accents. Just be careful you keep the area of the accent small, unless it's another item of clothing like jacket, pants, skirts, coat. Also, until you get the hang of it, keep to one color at a time. As you go along, you'll be able to do something like a bright red skirt with the sweater, and a cute emerald green brooch, or a black on black, with a silver belt, and red white and blue beads, etc.

this is cool. i wore the sweater today with jeans a little lighter than the ones in the pic and silver bangle bracelets. it's early and people have noticed. WOW. i feel good.
