Well this is it. THE DAY I have been counting down to.
I have lost 21lbs on the pre-op diet, whenever it was hard i just thought about being slim.... it was easy then
Also I heard my surgeon had started to operate on one patient but when it became blatantly visible to him that she hadnt stuck to the pre-op diet, he just closed her back up. When she woke up he told her if she couldnt do the diet for 2 weeks then she didnt have the right mental attitude for the surgery, that she had wasted...

Wow. I can't believe it has been over a year since my last post. I would love to say that I had my surgery, or that I was close to having my surgery, or even that I had made any iota of progress towards surgery, but the plain truth is that I gave up on myself, and have allowed myself to get bigger and in a worse spot then before. To be honest I gave up on everything, so I am taking some solace in the fact that all areas of my life went to hell in a handbasket, and that it was not food exclusive....

I am 6 weeks out from surgery and almost from the start I have been vomiting everything I eat. I had a scope done yesterday and my dr claims its all in my head and there is nothing wrong. I am at the end of my rope. I would have never had this done had I known I would go through this. Can anyone help me? I am trying to find another dr to get a second opinion but need some help until then to get some food in my stomach.
