10 month check-up

Posted 04-30-2010 at 03:33 PM by SueZ

But...he did say something that I've been mulling over, and I think it's important. He said people who have been very successful sometimes get a little complacent and the weight sneaks back on. NOW is the time to really watch what I eat, pick wisely, follow rules, take the vitamins, exercise. I sure don't want to gain...

Almost one year out

Posted 04-29-2010 at 09:09 PM by sherrid

Gee went by so quickly. Seems like ages ago I was worrying and fretting. Funny I am now a size 10 but I have the same issues with my apperance I had when I was 275? I don't like my belly fat and now I am just saggy? But I am sooooo much healthier! and I can run soooooo much easier. If you would have ask me a year ago, I would have thought my apperance would have been the thing I thought I would feel best about but I never realized how GOOD it feels being lighter! I physically feel so much...

New Bras!

Posted 04-27-2010 at 06:49 AM by SueZ

I had a bra fitting at a fancy-schmancy lingerie shop near my daughter's Santa Ana home. We were visiting her last month. She took one look at me and set it up. What an eye opener. I had been buying...from Walmart, Target, Kohls...bras that I thought were pretty nice, fit Ok. But no. The second the fitter put me in a bra chosen for MY shape, MY size, I could instantly feel the difference. I had been buyin 40B's, rolling up the loose girls to compress and fit in the cups. Well guess what?...

I started to panic and went back to all liquids so I could get back down. Help!!

The ride isn't over!

Posted 04-26-2010 at 04:44 PM by SueZ

I was ecstatic to fall below 200 pounds. I am beside myself to be at 169! The highest I weighed in the "bad" old days was 289...so that is a 120 pound loss. Wow!
I wear a large in t-shirts. A LARGE! and a 12 or a 14 in pants. The extra skin flopping around on my thighs, arms and belly doesn't bother me. Oh, if I were 20 years younger I might have it taken care of, but honestly...I look pretty good in clothes, and having my belly "tucked" would mean more scars, and...
