Hello, I am doing well as I continue to learn and grow with my new life. I am not sure why this is happening but some days I hold my meals,
some days I don't?? is this normal? I am eating my 3 meals a day.I believe I am doing what I am told to do. it has only been 2 1/2 weeks since I had my surgery. I am thinking it is just my pouch being finicky. I know my surgeon told me to take my many vitamins( pill form) just to take them through out the day. some days it is a struggle to get them all in. Has anyone else had these issues? I am struggling with the protein as well. any suggestion to what taste good and dose not smell and taste
yucky. I am open to all advise.
Thanks

I'm glad you're doing well. I too have to take a bunch of pills and my Dr. told me to cut them up into 4 pieces at first. Now I just cut them in half. Could that be making you sick? They can get stuck if they are whole. Later on the opening gets a bit larger and they don't get stuck. What and how much are you eating at mealtime? I was on baby food and only 2Tbs. for the first couple of weeks. Then 3 Tbs. then 4 Tbs. Now at 7 weeks out I can have some real soft foods and I like that. Take Care.Posted 08-16-2009 at 05:57 PM by Sharon S
