It has been a LONG day.

Had my first post-op appointment this morning. First, the weigh-in; my first since surgery. I weighed 321.6, so I am 19 pounds under my pre-op weight.

My appointment was with one of the bariatric center's PA's. She went over my next diet - pureed foods! YEAH! She also went over what supplements I'll need. She gave me a script for Foltrin, plus she told me I need both calcium citrate tablets as well as Vitamin D tablets.

I am home from the hospital now. Let me recap, as best I can, the events of the past few days.


Monday, March 2 - day of surgery
I had to be to the hospital by 9:45 am Monday morning, because my surgery was scheduled for 11:45 am. Dropped off my CPAP at the check-in desk. I was finishing up getting prepped for surgery, and Dr. Johnson (my surgeon) poked his head in. He told me prior surgeries were running early, and I would be going in at 11 am, and not 11:45.
