I decided as long as I had ordered protein shakes decided I would try them. I had bought the kind that are mixed with water. The first one I tried was Chocolate marsh mellow and was very good. I had a second one the next day and it was chocolate nut and I had a terrible allergy attach. I am still not over it. The shakes are made with whey so I packed up the box and sent them off to a friend who had just had WLS. What would I have done if I had had surgery and was unable to use the protein shakes and other protein items if they contained whey? Why had the dietitian not listened when I told her I was allergic to Dairy products? She filled out the pre-op diet and post diet all with things mixed with milk and sent me home to read it. What would I have eaten after surgery.....
I am continuing to lose weight and only 7 lbs.
and will weight the same as my DH for the first time in many years, he is so excited.
Big moment I had gone to DGD volleyball game. I was warm outside so had worn short sleeves and skirt. I was air conditioned and very cold. I had to go out and find warmer clothes and big surprise my new jacket and pants were a 14/16. I have not worn that size for years.
I was so happy.
