It has been like forever since I've posted. I now understand why people kind of disappear, never to hear from them again....they get busy, busy, busy.

My newest job, which has it's perks and setbacks, has kept me really busy. When I get home, I'm just too pooped to do anything but spend time with the family and take care of things on this end.

They finally hired another person, and things are getting a bit better on the work end. So, with that in mind, I feel a little...

It's been about a month since my last blog. I'm slowly starting to feel a tad better. Ended up going on a low dose of Prozac. At least I don't feel like my heart is jumping out of my chest 3/4 of the time now, or the need to burst into tears several times a day.

Got a massage. Good for me. I think I need to start incorporating that into my routine somewhere on a semi-routine basis. I was pain free and stress free for several days.

Work still going good. I'm a tad...

Let's see....about this time last year I found out I was diabetic and hit an all time high of 264. I was living in one house with three kids and my husband 4 1/2 hours away at the main house. I was working two jobs, tired all the time, finishing up my doctoral project, and TIRED ALL THE TIME.

Fast forward in the year's time and I feel like a failure as a parent as my youngest moved home to be with daddy (Halloween), graduate with my doctor of nursing practice, take a family trip...

Wow, has it been that long since I posted?!!!

I'm having my morning cocktail of vitamins and looked back and noticed it has been awhile since blogging.

I made it to my reunion. I made goal! I'm settling into my new job. School has started back up. Got one in college, one in high school, and one in middle school. I'm teaching this semester as lead instructor in one course. I've been BUSY.

Next month (on the 8th I think) I go in for endo and coloscopy....

I look at my blogs to keep up with my progress and thoughts along the way of this journey. I've started week 3 of my new job and that is going pretty well.

In the past week I made it to the Century Club, which was pretty cool.

Today, I weighed in at 162. That is 5 lbs from my last blog on the 23rd of July, or 10 days ago. When I got off the scales, the thought of Lily Tomlin in the Incredible Shrinking Woman popped into my head....

I have a horrid rash...
