Well it's been 2 weeks since I came home from my trip to meet Drayke and I'm still on cloud 9. For those who haven't read my other posts we've been talking online for 4 years and never met face to face, but since I had my surgery and moved and gotten a new job I've had the strength, courage and the money to make the trip to finally meet him. So here it is nearly Feb and I'm just working and trying to figure out what a normal life is for me now. Before it was easy... I had no life.. I lived with a friend taking care of her kids.. no real job .. no income.. nothing.. just a life in this virtual world called online. I am writing this as a response to the "How do you really feel?" thread http://www.renewedreflections.com/fo...ally-feel.html This made me really think about things and how I've handled how the world treats me.

I was not heavy as a child, thick, but no real weight problem. My mom was always pushing me to diet.. she wanted me to be "model" thin. I could diet and get to 120 pounds, but I could never stay there... my body wanted to...

So I come home Friday from my 2 month follow up with my nut and find out I need to add 20 more grams of protein a day and that my iron is low, but other than those 2 small things I'm doing great. Everyone was so happy with my weight loss and said it just showed in my face how happy I was. I was finally coming to terms with the fact that my boyfriend was gone and that it was better that he had done it now while I was still strong from the surgery and not a year down the road when it would be easier...

Well here it is 2 months out of surgery and I'm starting to try and get used to the fact that my boyfriend of 3 years seems to have broken up with me (ie Venting for the long version) and I need to move on. I miss him still so much but I can honestly say that I'm not turning to food like I would have before so in that sense I feel really good about my self.
