OMG I am soooooo scared. I am the biggest wimp ever and I hate pain!!!!! If anyone an give me some input on what it was like when you first wake up, when you are 1 wek out, when you are 2 weeks out, ect that would be awesome!!!

Well I hope you are like me and you wake up feeling pretty okay. I think the only time I really used the pain button was right before I had to get out of bed and that was just precautionary... just a shot to make sure getting up didn't really hurt. After the first time I got out of bed I still pushed it, but didn't need it otherwise. The second time I got out of bed I got out a little too fast and tugged a bit on my drain, but that didn't hurt, just noticed some blood on my gown when I got to the window at the end of the hall (didn't do any damage, just a little blood). I had the surgery on Monday morning and I was home Wed night... and I didn't need any of the pain meds they send me home with. Now I can't tell you that within 2-3 weeks I was moving around with much more ease than before the surgery.... that took a bit longer, but I had so much to lose it took a while for me to notice a change in that, but as far as pain... OMG I havent gotten anywhere NEAR a scale yet! Good job on your weight loss though! Im doing fine, no pain really, just feel bloated and gassy all the time. Nope, I spend most of my time worrying that Im doing things all wrong! I know what you mean about that gassy feeling, I bough some GasEX but it doesnt seem to work. I think that's the worst part. I'm not in too much pain anymore and I was able to lay on my side last night, was great cuz I'm tired of sleeping on my back. I have to work tomorrow cuz I only req 1 week of vacation, so hopefully I will be able to make it through the day.Posted 04-11-2010 at 11:01 AM by GipsyQueen

- I actually didnt let them know at work the reason I was going to be out so I only requested my week of vacation. I miss my job and my coworkers anyways so I think it might be good for me. - everyone knows at my work my hubies right here for me waiting on me hand and foot I am lucky I have a loving man as he is so good to I am going to take this slow and easy didnt get this size over night so I must say my fondest moment is when I had a nice long fart wow like pulling a pop off vaulve on your hot water tank best feeling ever just to let the thunder rool.lol crazy but you all know what it feels like to let some pressure.Posted 04-15-2010 at 11:48 AM by roses

- Well, I finally went back on my 14th day post op, and I am feelin' great! Im only working 4 hour days, but it feels great to be back! I would say just see how you feel!
