I am back at work...
I have lost 53lbs since surgery. Everyone tells me I look good. I must admit, I feel great. This is the best decision I have ever made. I feel healthier and lighter. My back pain is gone, no more huffing and puffing.

Hello everyone:
I had my surgery on June 24th as planned (finally). What really surprised me was the painlessness (is this a word?) of it. I was able to move around that same day. Since then, I have been able to go to the gym and use the tread mill. I feel fine and I have lost over twenty pounds.

There are times when I wonder if I made the right decision. I will always wonder about this for the rest of my life but in all honesty, I like what I am seeing about this new...

My surgery date was moved again…

I am going in tomorrow June 24, 2008 at 7:00 am; please have me in your prayers.

I started my prep on Sunday evening (my decision) instead of waiting till Monday morning as suggested by my doctor. I hate that liquid phosphate stuff. It made my stomach churn. Somehow, I managed to keep it down.

I came across this site by mistake and I have been using it as my source for info.

My surgery date is June 17th. I moved it again. At first, I was excited about going ahead with the procedure but lately, I am not so sure. I know I should stop listening to the negative comments and JUST DO IT.

I am a control freak to some extent so I am trying to get as much info as possible on what to expect so that I can be prepared.
