Finally Feeling Normal!

Hello Everyone!
Its been a while since my last post. I am now 7 weeks out and only 2 days ago did I start to feel "normal" again! I'm down 42lbs and very happy with the loss. Unfortunately, I have had to deal with an incision that just doesnt seem like it wants to heal! Went for a check-up yesterday and all was good! The dr was very happy with my progress and seems to think the incision will finally be healed within the next 2 weeks! What a relief that will be. I was given the ok to start working out again. I have been a little depressed not being able to go to the gym. Im excited to start back on Monday! I've had to battle nausea that seems to last all day long and it has not been fun. Since the pain has subsided I have been able to eat alot better so its a relief. I have noticed, however, that I do not look at food the same anymore. I am turned off to alot of the things I use to like. Which probably is a very good thing. This surgery has been a blessing. I wasn't so sure in the beginning but I am sure now! I am looking forward to the holidays, the new year, and the new me!!!
