If you had told me 5 years ago that I would be looking at having weight loss surgery, I would have told you that you were nuts.

Now a few years later, I have decided to take the steps to get healthy. Not just for myself but for my daughter as well.

I am getting a little frustrated with the process right now. I attended my seminar on April 15, 2008. I finally saw the surgeon yesterday (7/30). Now I just have to wait for the surgery pre-authorization to be done to get my date. I feel like I am in a perpetual hurry up and wait state. I know that I am luckier than some who have to wait much longer but it is still frustrating.

I have let a little depression set in that I need to battle on top of all of this.

Hopefully it won't be long to get the date and then we can get this show on the road!
