Blisters, sore muscles...

I have taken to getting people to help out with the lawns, and things around the house. Today I had a friends and his son around to knock down some old concrete steps. Sledge hammering big time. Very solid concrete.
They had a good go at it, and our family and other friends all had a go.
The result - sore muscles, blisters, and very satisfied with the days work. We have not got it totally finished, but very pleased with progress. The last bit is the actual steps - they seem to be solid concrete. And given that we have broken the handle of the sledge hammer, they will have to wait another day to get finished off.
I have been trying to use our weight machine so as to get some exercise. I did some pressups this morning, then the concrete hammering... not a good combination when your arms are tired already. But the exercise must help with general fitness, something I have not been getting a lot of until recently. Sitting at a computer all hours of the day is not the best for fitness.
