I'm in Canada, so it takes a little longer to get a date, but I'm going for my surgery in October. That's a lot sooner that I thought actually. Only 5 months away.
My surgeon wants me to loose weight before surgery so I'm down 30 lbs since January. I've lost my "quite smoking" weight and I hope to lose another bit before the surgery. It will be hard in the summer, but I'll try. As song as I don't gain my surgeon will be happy. I will still have to do the two weeks of optifast before the surgery. I know that the less I wight before, the easier it will be to recover.

Congrats On Your Surgery! Mine Is June 30 Th. I'am In Indiana. I Go For My Pre -op Classes And My Testing June 4th And 5th. They Also Want Me On A High Protein Low Carb Diet. They Want Me To Have An Extra 3 Oz. Of Protein With Each Meal. My Water In Take At 38 Oz. A Day As Well... Its So Hard To Do Everything Just Right
