I'm Lovin' It!

And no - I am not talking about McDonald's!
I love the energy I have back in my life!! (well besides the 1st trimester exhaustion, but I ignore that as much as possible.) It felt good to actually wake up Saturday morning with a plan to have my entire gardening done in one weekend. With the exception of laying trim in one spot, I succeeded, of course with a little DH help.
We trimmed the entire front area like we have been meaning to do for three years...planted all of our annuals that we always wanted to but I never had the energy...started my garden, laid new volcanic rock, trimmed my roses, and on and on. I was so beat I could barely move yesterday, but it looks gorgeous!!!
Such a foreign concept to actually be able to "keep going" through a project. And not just watch my husband try to finish everything I started.
Well, it may be a Monday, but the sun is shining and the weather is warm. Can't complain.
And in 35 minutes I can get the heck outta dodge and enjoy it! LOL

I know how you feel. I went hiking for the first time this week & my husband, who has always had more enery than me, had to ask me to slow down because he couldn't catch his breath. I even had enough energy to go hiking 2 different trails the second day. My husband didn't think I would make it the first day. I guess I showed him something. LOL Today we went on a 5 mile walk & I feel great. He's still having trouble keeping up.
