normal eating after R-N-Y?

Just a question? I had my R-N-Y on may 4th and did extremely well out of hospital in 2 days walking 1.5 mile in 4 and tolerating food liquids and soft foods well, in small portions of course. I was allowed to eat reg foods as tolerated on june 4th and did really well with that too. I can eat 1/2 cup of cottage cheese or tuna salad no prob. I do have prob with certain things like I ate 2 bites of a hamburger and was in the BR for 1/2 hour I didn't throw it all up just froth? It felt like cramping and things were clogged up? Is this normal? I have eaten meatballs and they did not bother me so not sure why the bite of hamburger? Is it a hit and miss thing? I was just embarassed and don't want it to happen again, then again I have heard ppl have much worse, so my pouch must be working really good? Worries me I hope I have as good results since I can eat most things? Just wondering if this all is norm from you more experienced wl ppl. Thanks

You ar a little over a month out, and your pouch is still healing and adjusting.
It will be very picky in the beginning. It will take about a year until you are able to truly eat a wide variety. Until then, it is going to be trial and error, and what works one day won't the next, and the other way around.
Please visit the main board, look around and read, and post your questions there, you are going to find a lot of similar experiences there.
