WLS one month away..EXCITED but SCARED too

Hello...I'm 49 (knockin 50) and my surgery is to be the first week in Aug. I am soooo excited until FEAR overcomes me with some dramatic horror story someone tells me.My doctors have recommended the surgery for me because other wise i wont be around in a couple of years.I have heart disease,diabetes(insulin pump),microvascular disease,COPD,and severe nueropothy in my feet and hands and diabetic retonopothy.I'm 5'7 and 255 lbs.I have 4 daughters and 6 grandchildren,i want to live for them and my most wonderful,kind,sweet husband of 6 years,who loves me despite my weight.Please pray for me to have peace,not fear.I will post a picture before surgery.Blessings to all

Pre op roller coaster emotions are quite normal.

I am 54, and my surgery is scheduled for 5th July.
I am excited and scared too, today i started the pre-op diet, so my countdown has begun in earnest. I have 8 grandchildren and a new one due on 8th august. My husband is wonderful, and very supportive, as are most of my family, and friends, but to be honest I dont care if I have to do it alone, I would because this IS FOR ME!!!
