What is it about kids? Can she not see the absoloute panic in my face? Can she not comprehend "you dont have time for anything else but what i tell you to do?" She is quite brilliant..i am quite frazzled. No concept of time...at 7. Just stop being 7, i actually said that this morning, to which she replied "I CAN't". Shes late for school, im late for school...i just had to take pause.
On a lighter note. She has growing pains..big time. Shes in uber stretch mode. In line up at school in the mornings, she looks like she belongs in the grade 5 line instead of her grade 2 line.To the point they are testing her for "precocious puberty". Her testosterone levels are up..and her wrist xray came back as the wrist of a 10 year old (last year). We have had armpit fluff (now full grown hair) since 5. They want to put her on hormone therapy..now it wont be bioidenticle..no no. We COULDNT fund anything good for women (or men that are willing to ask for help) ..no it will be the synthetic horse pee stuff that hurts ppl. I was visibly taken aback and balked..to which the Dr. added..."if this continues at this rate , without hormone therapy it could cause permanent damage to her spine and joints"....oh. (Doc if you read this, i had her at 28 weeks , she didnt require a respirator or a special care nursery, she just had to get bigger, could this rate of growth have anything to do with the steriods she was given back then?)Oh the mood swings on her.
I dont like giving her childrens motrin, or advil, or tylenol all the time. So last night Chuckie discovered the power of "the massage". (i used the KY warming stuff shhhhh!) Worked like a charm. Out cold , but not before she said she needed a hole in her pillow and a TV underneath. She also said something about "Lord! Mommy, your giving me a leg massage, not wringing out a mop!" Yet another reson to have the cable cut off for the summer.
