2 months today!

I've had a hard 2 months, no doubt about it. I'm still not back to normal as I'd like but I'm getting there. I hope everybody can have laprascopic surgery instead of the full monty 'cause it really does take A LOT LONGER to recover.
I am eating almost normal food. I'm eating soft, but adding in more stuff every day. Today I ate some almonds. Chewed up really well, of course...more like almond butter by the time it went down. No salads yet, but when I do it'll be baby spinach.
Beef just doesn't appeal at all. Ground turkey is terrific, as is fish.
I've slowed down at losing, maybe 2-3 pounds a week. I can certainly live with that.
Speaking of living...went to a new eye doctor a few days ago. When I told him I'd had rny, he said, "You have added 10 years to your life."!!! Great to hear.
