Constantly vomiting....help!!!

I am 6 weeks out from surgery and almost from the start I have been vomiting everything I eat. I had a scope done yesterday and my dr claims its all in my head and there is nothing wrong. I am at the end of my rope. I would have never had this done had I known I would go through this. Can anyone help me? I am trying to find another dr to get a second opinion but need some help until then to get some food in my stomach.

Tammy, you should post this to the main forum. Go to the index page, then the Stupid Questions section is best, so open up the index page of that, and click on the New Thread button on the upper left and start a new thread.
Have you tried different temps of the liquids and foods that you try to get in? If you just gag at the thought of food, you may need some help on the mental aspects of dealing with the changes you need to make. If your surgeon is unsympathetic, talk with your PCP and see if you can get some help there.Posted 07-05-2009 at 11:27 PM by DocSanae
- I landed here after doing a search for "vomiting" because I am also vomiting within minutes of eating....what is even more disheartening is that I am conduming literally only teaspoons of food in a day, and still struggling to drop weight. I am pretty convinced my body is in starvation mode! If anyone has advice, I would be very grateful. My doctor is a lovely person, but his clinic is so totally inundated that getting quality time to discuss specifics is impossible.
