My mental, spiritual, and physical journey to a healthier life and all of the twists and turns along the way.
Stitches came out today

Well the stitches came out today and I wore a top to the doctor that I have not had on in a year
. I lost 9lbs since my surgery. I was very surprised the other people had 20+lbs of weight loss. Oh well I guess I will loose at my own pace. Almost 5lbs a week is nothing to sneeze at. My husband is taking me out to eat, the first time since my surgery, and we are going to the Drive In. It is fun towant to go on date night. I am going to try to can some tomatoes tomorrow and I will start my new work out regimen. Get up at 7am and walk the treadmill and eat breakfast. Until I go back to work I will pick a project a day to complete. I am going to stop for lunch and walk again on the treadmill. I might take a nap after lunch and finish whatever project I started. I will work out before supper and sit down to eat with my husband. I have decided to have a daily routine and deviate only occasionally. Something else that I need to work into my daily routine is to study the Bible and put aside some quite prayer time. I know that somewhere in the Bible to be still and wait upon the Lord. (I will make it my priority to find the exact quote).
Today has been a good day and I will stay on course with my weight loss journey. I hope everyday I find out something new about myself. The thing that has been pressing on my mind is that I can accomplish things for other people and Now is MY time. With all of the support of my family and friends that think that I am that important and so should I!
