I am Vickie, I had my GB surgery a little over three months ago. I am currently down 75 pounds. I am 18 and I go to Penn State University. I was the first one in my family to decide I needed the GB surgery, however I was only 15 at the time so I had to wait three years before I could even think of completeing the pre surgery stuff. I started to suggest to my family that they could all benefit for the surgery. On Jan 28th 2006 my father underwent the gb surgery. On Dec 27th 2007 I followed. This May 13th my mom will be doing the same. I am having a little trouble with my surgery. This thur I am going to have a endosiskipi to make sure that there is no serious damage to my estophagaus. Most people say that they are finding they have a lack of energy. I am experienceing a sense of hyperactivity, Well I have early class tomorrow so I should try to get to bed. If anyone wishes to talk to me u can im me on aim urblueyedgirl526.

Welcome to the board, thank you for joining us.
Congratulations on joining the Loser's Bench.
((((((HUGS))))) May your journey go well.
By trouble, do you mean you have problems when trying to swallow, or do you find that you can't seem to keep the food down? Maybe your surgeon is suspecting a stricture and is having you go in for an endoscopy?
At any rate, good luck with the procedure, I hope it turns out well.Posted 04-08-2008 at 06:04 AM by DocSanae
