I do wish I would have saved a few of mine for just occasions like this. It makes sence.
I give alot to the Goodwill and a Mental hosptial here. The winter clothes I have and shoes go to the mental hosptial because they are needed there more than anywhere else.
I do wish I could help..... we have alot of new ones on the boards now so mabye you can start somthing up.
At work I started a scrub exchange or purchase for a dollar for people going up a size down a size or new hires not having the money to get scrubs right away. Its been an amazing expericne to say the least. Any money that is exchanged is put in to buy new books for the kids waiting room or equipment or supplies needed in the hosptial for the childrens floor.

A friend of mine does a clothing swap every year. Last November just before my surgery I was so excited because I got a whole range of sizes. I wish she was having one again, I did not think I would be in a size 16 this soon. Oh well this November I will be able to take my bigger sizes with me and pick up some smaller ones! Whoo hoo!!! (I live in CA)

Lydia Im now in a Large top and pants. I have tags still on some that I never got to wear during a stall and the inches moved to fast for me to catch up. When I say the scrub exchange i started what we do is you bring in lets say 6 tops and you can get 6 items free. If you dont bring in anything you pay one dollar for the item your getting. Some of these have tags. Some are worn pretty bad. These are free to everyone. Some take them home to garden in them. We have a special tote for just these. You would never know these are previously owned scrubs ever. People think you just bought new ones. The little office we place these in is a cubby I call it and people come in and hang them up in the appropiate size spot and go from there. We have a box to place the money in on a goodwill sorta thing so there is no one tending it acutally. The new hires think its a blessing in disguse. It is......because when I was hired I had no scrubs that fit me any longer and had to wear street clothes for the first couple of weeks. This is where the whole idea come from. I hope you find a dress from someone here who can help you. Right now I have none in my closet but the hubby told me he always did like to see me in dresses in the summer so i got a promise for a shopping trip soon for new dresses.
