A Cricut machine is like a die cutting machine. It cuts out shapes electronically. There are dozens of "cartridges" you can plug into the machine that have dozens of different shapes, numbers, etc that can be programmed to cut out. The cartridges usually come in a box with a keyboard overlay and instruction booklet.
