Alt Weight Loss Surgery Insurance
Yes, you can often get insurance cover for your Weight Loss Surgery.
Our own Craig "Big-T" Thompson has been there and done that, and he's written an e-book about it.

I found an unflavored whey isolate protein that can be mixed with sf pudding, or other foods, or non fat milk and sf flavorings for your own protein drink. It mixes well, has no gritty texture, and the unflavored really only has a mild flavor of evaporated milk. No unflavored protein is actually without flavor--it's just not chocolate, vanillla, strawberry, etc. My blogs or links below contain info on this. DAVE

I need a good protein recommendation. I use the wheybolic from GNC but after three months I hate it. I'm choking it down. I bought some strawberry whey from the local market that was pretty good but the problem is it gets slimy if you don't drink it right away.

The unjury in coffee...now that sounds like something I could get into...I've heard lots of good things about unjury...

Cool Unjury with Coffee

Danacain,
www.unjury.com

It has medical quality protein. I mix it with soups and coffee. Here is how I get it to go. I pour my coffee or soup--leaving room for milk. (Tomoto soup). Then I add my milk--making the temperature of the item warm not hot. I add two heaping teaspoons of protein powder and stir gently until it desolves.
This works good for me, and I feel full when I drink it. I "nurse" my coffee. I can warm it up in the micro--but it will curdle if I get it too hot.

They have soups and flavored stuff too, but I have never been able to stomach things like Nestle's quick etc., because of the slimey texture.

One full scoop is about 20 grams of protein--so my two tsps. heaping is about half of that. So I figure I get ten grams of protein per serving--plus about 20 cal and 2 grams of protein for a 1/4 cup of skim milk--making each cup of joe about 60 calories with 12 g. of protein.

I am now drinking a 16 oz of warm water before I have my coffee--then more water after coffee--so I am getting enough liquids.

Hope this works for you,
Becky

I like to mix protein powder with calcium fortified soy milk or soft tofu, although right now no kind of protein supplement tastes good to me. I hope my taste changes back, since I know I need the extra protein.
