Weight Loss Method Roux en Y Gastric Bypass  |  Remember my April 8th surgery date.....well I got a call from my surgeon's office at 9:30pm last night and they said they had a cancellation and thought of me immediately (since I cried when I heard I had to wait 3 more months!). My new date is..... Next Thursday!!! the 21st! I had 5 minutes to decide if I wanted the date. It is coming at the worst time, I was supposed to be gone all weekend at my daughter's dance compeititon (I have 2 girls that compete). I know this may not sound like much, but it is a 3 day ordeal and my kids dance in 8 numbers. They have been competiting for 4 years and I've never missed a competition. But, my mom is flying in from Vegas and I'll give her a quick lesson on hair changes and make up and all the other crazy stuff. My husband is going as well, since he knows what to do, but can't be in the dressing room to help the girls. So, tomorrow starts my liquid diet, I have tons of shopping to do... I am so unprepared, I had another 2 months before I had to think about all of this!! and yes, I'm a little scared.
