Ok, when I finally get in enough protein, then one of my other numbers are out of balance. My proteins for today are 52. My carbs are only 16, so that's great, but then my fat grams for the day are 59!!! How in the world do you get them all to balance? Please help.

My doctor has told me to just focus on getting protein, if there is room for the others, then have them. But all docs are different.

My doctor has said to just be sure I get in enough protein, but I guess some of my sources for protein are high in fat. I was just wondering if that's what was slowing down my weight loss. Anybody know?

i think it doesnt matter now. earlier out i was told to just get in the protein. im not sure if it makes a difference. we all hit stalls and slow down and then pick up for reasons that are not really linked to any one thing.

what are your proteins? Dairy products? Cheese, or peanut butter....?? Some of these items can be VERY high in fat... the formula I always used with fat is if you burn off more than you take in, you can't help but lose. If you are taking in 59 grams of fat, but normal daily routines (to include workout) only burns 40 grams...then the rest will be stored and slow the weight loss. Are you using protein supplements? So far today: B-Yogurt (100 calories/5 grams of protein/fat free/19 carbs) S - Quaker snack cakes (90 Calories/2 protein/14 carbs/3.5 fat) L-Lean Cuisine (180 calories/20 grams protein/7 grams fat/9 carbs) S-VHT Smoothie (160 calories/35 grams protein/5 carbs) D-PROFECT BULLET after the gym (100 calories/25 protein/zero carbs) Calories 630 Protein 87 Carbs 47 Fat 10.5 I've been eating all day, and still...under 1000 calories, everything is low carb and pushing protein....I always try to keep my fat to know more than the 10 gram mark.... Weight Loss Method Roux en Y Gastric Bypass | When I do my sparkpeople thing it has the guidelines for weightloss for my height, weight. I am always well under for carbs and fat. Remember Doc told us we need good carbs - like 130 per day? well, I dont usually hit that but your numbers are fine, maybe even low. Check with your nut. |
