Question Question about sweet corn

I was wondering if anyone has eaten sweet corn on the cob? I will not touch the corn until I have all my weight off that I want and was wondering if anyone at there goal weight is eating any corn on the cob. Can a person with gastric ever eat corn again?

Alt Weight Loss Surgery Insurance
Yes, you can often get insurance cover for your Weight Loss Surgery.
Our own Craig "Big-T" Thompson has been there and done that, and he's written an e-book about it.

I've eaten corn....off the cob and by itself...I tend to avoid carbs/starches...so I don't do it often....

Sure, you can eat corn. Just that, as Kenyar said, it may cause some post ops to dump. However, corn on the cob, fresh and boild, is good wholesome carb, so though you need to be conscious about it, it's better than say, a box full of cookies.

I eat corn. But I am one of the carb eaters. I have about 150g per day, so if corn fits into that then great! My weight continues to come off slowly (1.5-2.5 lbs/week), so I think all is well.

Im with KAth. I have eaten corn both cob and not cob. I only do it once in a while too. More so when I cook the frozen Birds eye stuff for the kids I will have a bite here and there but I too tend to stay away from it due to the carbs.

I actually buy fresh corn...wrap it in paper towel and cook it in the husk in the microwave....the husk and silks just peel right off and if it's fresh, it steams it right in the husk and doesn't even need butter!!

(thanks for the pic comment....!!)
